Our Policies

Daycare

• 24 hour cancellation notice is required for daycare. Please call us before noon a day in advance to cancel without a charge.
• Please call us to see if we have room for your dog unless you are on a recurring schedule.
• Please keep in mind that in order to accommodate our boarders during busy periods, we limit the number of daycare dogs that we can accept. During these times we are unable to accommodate dogs that do not get along well with other dogs even though they are on a recurring schedule. You must sign up your dog on our special limited number sign-up sheet that is posted a week or two in advance of our busy periods. These busy periods include February and April school vacation weeks and the weeks surrounding the following holidays:  Memorial day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
• Punch cards can only be used for daycare visits and cannot be used towards boarding stays.
• Half day rates for daycare are only offered at our South Burlington location. Half days are for 4 hours or less with a pick-up by 4:00pm. Departures after 4:00 pm will be charged the full day rate.
• Full payment is due for daycare the same day that the service is rendered. (If you are having a friend bring in or pick-up your dog for you, please arrange to prepay.)
• A late fee of $5.00 for up to each 15 minutes after closing will be added to your invoice when applicable. The length of time staff will wait for an owner past closing before boarding the dog(s) overnight is up to the discretion of the staff. In the event that a daycare dog is not picked up for daycare, the owner will incur an additional fee for boarding.
• Owner must pay for any damages to the facility that are caused by his/her dog(s).
• If a daycare dog requires feeding for the day and the owner fails to provide food (or an adequate amount), the dog will be given food provided by us at a cost of $1.00 per cup.
• There is a $5.00 charge per day for us to administer medications. There is no charge for giving supplements such as glucosamine.
• At our Richmond location only, there is an extra $5.00 per day charge for not neutered males over 1 ½ years of age.
• If you are planning on getting your dog vaccinated for Bordetella, please do not bring them until 2 weeks after getting the vaccine.
• Please do not bring your dog on the same day you have applied a topical flea treatment.
• We do not take females in heat or those that are pregnant

Boarding

• A $25.00 per dog non-refundable deposit is required to reserve boarding space
• Boarding charges are per night except for the departure day. On the day of departure, you will be charged for daycare if you pick up after Noon.
• For all boarding stays, full payment is due at the time of departure. (Please make arrangements to prepay if someone other than yourself is picking up your dog.)
• All new boarding clients must prepay half of the expected boarding charges at the time of arrival.
• Changes may be made to boarding reservations up to 24 hours before the originally scheduled day of arrival without penalty. Changes can be made thereafter, but you will be charged the original reservation price.
• We understand that travel plans occasionally change at the last minute. However, we schedule our incoming guest availability according to our outgoing guests and although we will allow you to pick-up your dog earlier than originally scheduled, you will be charged for the days originally reserved.
• If the owner fails to provide food (or an adequate amount), the dog(s) will be fed food provided by us at a cost of $1.00 per cup.

• If you want your dog to be bathed before departure, please provide us with an accurate time of departure.
• Please note that we do not accept boarding drop-off’s prior to 7am weekdays and 9am on weekends.
