COVID -19 Protocols

Because the safety of our staff, our clients, and our community is of the utmost importance to us, we ask that you do not use our services if you are feeling sick or if you have been exposed to anyone who is suspected of having COVID-19.  We also encourage you to wear a face mask whenever you enter our building and keep 6 feet away from other people.  Our staff will be adhering to strict guidelines for safety including frequent hand washing, wearing facial coverings, and regularly disinfecting the front entry and all well-traveled areas of our facility. They will also be practicing social distancing within the facility and are asked to stay home if they are not feeling well.

DAYCARE RESERVATIONS

Please note that we are now restricted to a reservations-based structure.
We request that you make reservations at least 48 hours in advance.  If in the past you were on a regular recurring schedule, you will also have to make your reservations via phone, email, or through our ProPet Client portal.  For reservations secured via telephone, please be prepared to provide us with payment at the time the reservation is made.  For reservations made via email or through our ProPet client portal as well as those messages left on our answering machine, please include a daytime phone number and indicate a good time for us to call you back for payment information.  (If you have purchased one of our prepaid packages and still have days left on your punch card, you will be all set once we confirm your reservation.)

LODGING RESERVATIONS

As usual, reservations are required in advance. Reservations can still be made via phone, email, and through our ProPet Client portal.   Pre-payments for the entire reservation will be taken once all requirements are verified including vaccination history and the reservation is confirmed. Once confirmed, we will call you to secure your payment via the phone.  Please provide a valid daytime phone number when making the reservation so that we can contact you as soon as we are able to confirm vaccination information.  (Any changes made to the original reservation such as early or delayed departures and the addition or subtraction of services will be reconciled via phone on the day of departure before you come to get your dog.)

WHAT TO BRING FOR LODGING

Please bring the exact amount of your dog’s food with a couple days additional in the event of delayed departures.  The food should be placed in clear plastic bags and labeled with your dog’s name.   If your dog has medications, supplements or food additives to take, please bring them in a separate labelled disposable plastic bag.  When unsure of what to bring please call us so that we can advise you on how to prepare for acceptance into our facility.

Please note that you also have the option of having us provide our food, Eagle Adult Lamb Meal and Brown Rice Formula, at a cost of $1.00 per cup.

We will not be able to accept any blankets, bedding, toys, or treats at this time.   We will provide your dog with our own bedding and toys that will be regularly washed and disinfected.  All dogs will be provided with our own treats throughout the day and at bedtime.  You are welcome to purchase any of our retail items for your dog to enjoy.

WHAT TO DO UPON ARRIVAL AT OUR FACILITY FOR DAYCARE

Once you arrive at our facility please give us a call at 802-434-6411 and we will let you know when you are able to enter the building. We are happy to provide curbside service to anyone who feels uncomfortable entering the building!! Please let us know this when you call to alert us of your arrival.  (We feel that it will be safer and less stressful for the dogs if they are brought into the facility by their owners rather than retrieved at the car from a stranger wearing a face mask. However, we have absolutely no problem doing this if you prefer!)

Everything will be on a first come, first served basis.    Only one customer at a time will be allowed in.  Please wait in your car until we have okayed your entry. Once you are called in, please open the front door and come into the entry directly in front of the stairs then open the door to the right of the stairs and enter the room.  There you will remove your dog’s leash and other adornments, exit the room, close the door, and then exit the facility being sure to close the door behind you.  Please take your dog’s leash and other belongings with you.  Your dog should not be wearing anything other than a flat buckle collar.  No bandanas, flea collars, or clothing, etc.   No belongings will be accepted including food containers. For daycare drop-off’s, if your dog requires a lunchtime feeding during the day, please let us know how much food to give them at the time of the reservation and we will feed them our dry kibble which is Eagle Adult Lamb Meal and Brown Rice Formula, at a cost of $1.00 per cup.  If your dog has strict dietary restrictions and requires lunch, please let us know ahead of time.  In these limited cases we will have you package the lunch in a disposable plastic baggie and leave your labeled bag of food out on the bench on the front porch and alert us to that fact before you leave the building.  (The baggie will be properly disinfected before it is taken into the building and disposed of after lunch.)
